Banking Department staff attend National Association of Consumer Credit Administrators Training Symposium

June 8, 2026

Summary

The New Hampshire Banking Department staff attended the NACCA Training Symposium, which covered fraud trends and emerging consumer credit issues. This is not a regulatory change; it is an informational notice about staff professional development.

Members of the New Hampshire Banking Department attended the National Association of Consumer Credit Administrators (NACCA) Training Symposium in Richmond, Virginia last week.

The symposium offered sessions and talks on numerous subjects of consumer credit regulation, including fraud trends and emerging issues in the industry. The conference also offered an opportunity for regulators from different states to network and collaborate.

“I was grateful for the opportunity to attend the NACCA conference. It expanded my understanding of emerging financial products, and the concerns consumers are facing,” said Banking Department Financial Examiner Stacie Pfefferle. “The sessions provided insight that will support my work at NHBD and help us stay proactive in addressing new regulatory challenges.”

Banking Department personnel joining Pfefferle at the symposium included Consumer Credit Division Director Michael Poulios, Consumer Credit Division Deputy Director Lea Sabean and other Financial Examiners.
