Privacy Policy

Last updated July 5, 2026

This policy explains what information Reglith collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Reglith website and application.

1. Information we collect

We collect:

Account information — your name and email address, provided through Google sign-in when you create an account.

Workspace content — the policies and documents you upload, and the configuration of your compliance footprint.

Usage data — basic analytics about how the app is used, to help us improve it. We strip query strings and identifiers from stored URLs.

Billing information — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

2. How we use information

We use your information to provide and operate the service — authenticating you, generating summaries and analyses against your policies, sending transactional email and digests you have asked for, processing billing, and maintaining security. We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI processing

To generate summaries, impact analyses, and answers, relevant content — including excerpts of policies you upload — is processed by AI models through our AI gateway provider. This processing is solely to produce output for you. We do not use Your Content to train third-party models for unrelated purposes.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small set of vetted providers to run Reglith, including hosting and our AI gateway (Vercel), database and authentication (Supabase), payments (Stripe), transactional email (Resend), and error monitoring (Sentry). Each processes data only as needed to provide their part of the service.

5. Data retention

We retain your workspace data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or de-identify your data after a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and scoped credentials — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to respond quickly to any incident.

7. Your choices

You can access and update your account information, unsubscribe from digests, and request deletion of your workspace data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the app. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
