As part of April's Financial Empowerment Month initiative, the New Hampshire Banking Department is highlighting key areas of financial literacy. Today we're focusing on preventing elder financial abuse.
The New Hampshire Banking Department has a "Preventing Elder Financial Abuse".pdf one-page flyer with information on common scams. This flyer can be used as an informational guide and can be printed out to have as a reference or display in an appropriate area.
The New Hampshire Attorney General's office has an Elder Abuse and Financial Exploitation Unit.
