Strategy to Reduce & Prevent Homelessness

Summary

If enacted, this bill would require the Colorado Department of Local Affairs to propose a statewide strategy to prevent and resolve homelessness. It would also allow local governments to create multijurisdictional homelessness authorities and permit real estate documentary fees to be used for affordable housing initiatives. This does not directly regulate lending but may affect real estate transaction costs and funding for affordable housing.
