Services / Remediation Tasks
Turn findings into tracked work.
An impact finding with no owner and no due date is just a note. Tasks give it a home, a timeline, and an audit trail.
Why this matters.
Detecting a compliance gap is the first step. Closing it is the work. Most teams manage that work in a shared spreadsheet, an email thread, or a project management tool that knows nothing about the underlying regulation. Context gets lost, ownership drifts, and examiners ask for evidence that no one saved.
Reglith keeps tasks next to the findings that created them. The regulatory context, the assigned owner, the status, and the evidence-to-close are all in one place — and every change is logged so you can show an examiner the full remediation timeline without reconstructing it from memory.
What this looks like.
How we do it.
Create from context
A task created from an impact finding carries the finding reference, the severity, and the affected policy section automatically — no copy-paste required.
Owner and deadline
Assign an owner and an optional due date. Overdue open tasks are visually flagged so they surface before a review, not during one.
Audit log
Status transitions, edits, and evidence attachments are written to an append-only audit log. The full history of each task is available without digging through email.
What's in the product today.
Create tasks directly from impact findings or coverage gaps — the source context travels with the task
Assign an owner and a due date so nothing sits in a queue with no responsible party
Four-state workflow: Open, In progress, Done, Won't do — moves through status with one click
Attach evidence-to-close so reviewers can verify the remediation without re-reading the original finding
Every status change and edit is written to an immutable audit log
Active and closed tasks are split automatically, with a live count of what is open and overdue
