As part of April's Financial Empowerment Month initiative, the New Hampshire Banking Department is teaming up with other agencies and organizations to help you get informed about all aspects of your finances. Today we are looking the AARP and NH Fast Financial Abuse Prevention Conference.

The NH FAST (financial abuse specialty team) is joining with AARP to present the annual financial abuse conference on June 2 at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College in Manchester. Last year’s conference was attended by more than 100 elder justice professionals from all over New England. The theme for this year’s conference is “Hear their voices; Share our resources” and is focused on listening to the victims of financial abuse, and sharing experiences as professionals in successful interventions, investigations and prosecutions of these crimes.
