Bulletin 2026-K: Credit Fees
September 30, 2026
Summary
Freddie Mac Bulletin 2026-K aligns Credit Fee grids so the same grid applies regardless of whether a Mortgage is delivered with a VantageScore 4.0 or Classic FICO Credit Score; Credit Fees are no longer differentiated by credit score model. The change is effective for Mortgages with Settlement Dates on or after October 1, 2026, and Sellers must allocate Mortgages to Loan Selling Advisor contracts with a contract acceptance date on or after that date. Existing VantageScore 4.0 Credit Fee grids and negotiated fee provisions no longer apply, while VantageScore 4.0 eligibility requirements from Bulletin 2026-H remain unchanged.
