Contact Information for Notices Required by Real Property Actions and Proceedings Law § 130

The purpose of this letter is to provide lenders, servicers, and assignees with information required under Real Property Actions and Proceedings Law (RPAPL) § 1303(6).
Effective January 14, 2010, RPAPL § 1303 requires the foreclosing party in any mortgage foreclosure action to provide notice to both mortgagors and tenants affected by the action. RPAPL § 1303(6) states that “the department of financial services shall prescribe the telephone number and web address to be included in either notice.”
Pursuant to this Section, foreclosure notices should include the following contact information for the Department of Financial Services:
