Coverage for Mammograms and Supplemental Breast Cancer Screenings

Summary

If enacted, this bill would require the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to provide coverage for yearly mammograms and supplemental breast cancer screenings for certain women. It also revises coverage for mammograms and requires coverage for supplemental screenings under individual, group, blanket, and franchise accident and health insurance policies and health maintenance contracts in Florida.
