New VA Refinance Subproduct Requirement Effective October 13
The MPF Program is introducing a new VA refinance subproduct, Govt 30 Yr VA Refinance. Beginning October 13, 2026, all VA refinance loans delivered through the MPF Program must use this new subproduct and corresponding VA refinance delivery commitment pricing grid.
Members currently delivering VA refinance loans should review their internal procedures and prepare for this change before the effective date.
Please note the following delivery commitment requirements for VA Refinance loans:
- For Delivery Commitments created before Oct. 13, existing requirements will apply, and VA Refinance loans can fund into any Government Subproduct.
- For Delivery Commitments created on or after Oct. 13, the new requirements will apply, and VA Refinance loans must fund into the new Govt 30 Yr VA Refinance Subproduct.
Loans submitted using an incorrect subproduct or grid on or after October 13 will not be accepted by the system and an error message will be displayed.
