MPF Announcement 2026-66
October 5, 2026
Summary
Fannie Mae is permitting lenders who cannot implement UAD 3.6 by Nov. 2, 2026 to keep submitting UAD 2.6 appraisals through UCDP through May 19, 2027, provided they obtain a temporary policy exception. During the reduced-functionality period from March 1 through May 19, 2027, UAD 2.6 appraisals receive a Collateral Underwriter score of 999 and lose eligibility for enforcement relief on appraisal-related reps and warranties; after June 28, 2027, UAD 2.6 will be fully retired.
