Jeff Bagby Retires

After 41 Years

The Oklahoma State Banking Department recently honored Assistant Deputy Commissioner Jeff Bagby for his service and dedication to the State of Oklahoma. Jeff's career at the Banking Department began as an Examiner Trainee in 1985. He retired as Assistant Deputy Commissioner, having become an integral part of the Department's management team. Jeff has served as a teacher, mentor, supervisor, and friend. His steady and thoughtful guidance will be missed by all of us at the Banking Department. Happy Retirement, Jeff!

Message from Jeff Bagby

A heartfelt thanks to all the bankers across Oklahoma who I have had the pleasure to serve for 41 years. There have been many good years and a few challenging ones since I started in 1985, and the optimism, consistency and resilience of the people has always set the table for success. The quality of banking in this state is second to none and it is all about you the bankers. Your desire to serve your communities with excellence has been an inspiration and it was my honor to be a part of it.

-- Jeff Bagby, Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Retired
