GENERAL INFORMATION Who is required to have this license? Any location located in New Hampshire or outside of the state, where New Hampshire loans are originated or brokered, and that is identified by any means to the public. Branch office does not include the principal office location. This license should only be applied for by a company that also holds or is applying for Mortgage broker license. NH RSA 397-A Activities Authorized Under This License This license authorizes the following activities… • First mortgage brokering • Second mortgage brokering • Short sale • Reverse mortgage brokering • Third party mortgage loan processing • Third party mortgage loan underwriting • Lead generation • Mortgage loan modifications Pre-Requisites for License Applications • Company will need to be licensed before a branch license can be approved • Branch Manager will need to meet the requirement of a licensed NH loan originator NH Banking Department does not issue paper licenses for this license type.
