Minnesota disclosure requirements

Minnesota requires a nonagency disclosure from residential mortgage originators (or exempt persons other than mortgage brokers) who do not contract to act as the borrower's agent. The disclosure must be provided within three business days of accepting a loan application, be a separate 8.5x11-inch document signed by the borrower, and contain a specific statement in 14-point boldface print indicating the originator is not acting as the borrower's agent and cannot guarantee the best terms.
