Louisiana required documents
Louisiana requires mortgage brokers to provide a written residential mortgage loan brokerage contract signed by all parties, and a 'Mortgage Loan Origination Agreement' (or incorporate it into the contract) no later than three days after the initial loan application. This agreement must describe the broker's relationship and compensation, and include the name, address, phone, and unique identifier of both the originator and the lender. Additionally, the broker must give each borrower a signed 'Loan Brokerage Agreement and Disclosure Statement' as required by R.S. 9:3572.6. No state-specific closing documents are mandated beyond federal requirements.
