Rhode Island required documents
Rhode Island requires mortgage lenders to provide specific disclosure forms beyond federal requirements: (1) Forms 1 and 2 within 3 days of application; (2) Form 3 (Tangible Net Benefit) for refinances of loans consummated within the prior 60 months, prior to or upon consummation; (3) Forms 4 and 5 for High-Cost Home Loans, at the time determined to be high-cost and sufficiently before closing to allow counseling. All forms must be the exact versions provided by the Department and cannot be altered.
